New Wheat Free Vegan Treats From Whole Foods!
Posted on 10. Sep, 2010 by kris.
Hello!
Phew! What a busy day today. How are you?? Anything new and exciting I need to hear about??
Since we last spoke, I met my mom and nana for lunch and coffee, hoofed it around the mall looking at all the new fall clothes, browsed for a new desk and chair,

Saw a “sperm” chandelier

and grocery shopped at Whole Foods.
Came home, worked, walked the pooch, played fetch (yes my wiener dog retrieves…not many do. Kristina, does Basil??) and heated up leftovers. Hahaha, dinner again was nothing fancy. Not even post worth, but it looked something like this:

But….after dinner is what we are talkin’ about…..

Wheat Free, Vegan Treats purchased from Whole Foods!!
Come to me cranberry lemon muffin…….
OMG, these cookies from New Moon Kitchen are the bomb! Vegan without and “crap-o-la” in them!

This is my DREAM to bake like this company does
Seriously, you would never know they are wheat free! Try them out….cause I told you so
I had one of these cookies, while Ryan had his muffin.
Today while out an about with half of the fam, I realized how grateful I am to be so close with my family. Some people may not live close to their loved ones or even have the ability to talk with them as much as they would like too. I didn’t really think about it until the 3 of us were driving home jamming and dancing with the music pumped up. I am one lucky lady!

Thanks for the mucho great day Nana (who invited us out and treated us to lunch and a starbucks
)
Its so funny listening to my nana who just turned 72 talk about “googling” and MSN chat! Hahaha, common nana, join Facebook!
I am off to shoot a video for the bloggie and get my relaxing time on!
What is your Favourite brand of wheat free cookies?? I thought mine were the best until I tried these! Ok, going back for another cookie……jeez
Have a great night!

Late Night Fix

Happy Sunday!
How are you this morning?
I hope your day is going smoothly and the sun is shining wherever you are? It is overcast here right now, but I do see some blue sky off in the distance. I sure hope it is coming our way
Thank you for the wonderful feedback on my new Brown Rice Protein Powder! I am loving it so much I am baking with it again today. As we speak a batch of Quinoa Protein Bars are in the oven. I will post that recipe later!
**For those of you who emailed me regarding the protein – It was purchased here in Vancouver and all the Planet Organic stores carry it.
After our dinner last night we did some work around the condo, worked online and then we realized we didn’t have any fruit, rice milk or a brita water filter in the home so at 9:45 we were rushing to the grocery store. WOOO hold me back….FUN Saturday night!
I picked up my things I needed and then Ryan tells me “I am out of cereal. I need it” He is on t his cereal kick right now and when he needs it, he needs it. He loves being vegan, but the raw desserts and breakfasts don’t hit home for him……he still loves his baked vegan treats and well, cereal.
The grocery store we went to was so weak in there cereal selection and he wont eat anything with wheat in it (He says wheat gives him kankles
) sooo…..we hunted, and hunted, and HUNTED for an acceptable wheat free, fruit juice sweetened breakfast food.

“How about Corn Flakes, Ry?”
“I honestly don’t care what it is as long as its wheat free, you can pour rice milk over it and it crunches”
Done. Like. Dinner.
Gluten Free Corn Flakes that are Fruit Juice sweetened by our lovely Nature’s Path it is

He had a bowl as soon as he got home.
I had a few bites and these flakes are tasty! They keep their crunch a lot longer than our beloved Millet Flakes. Great choice if you are watching your gluten intake
Breakfast for me this morning was a delicious Green Smoothie with the Organic Brown Rice Protein of course!

And a small sunrise apple = TRUE LOVE
My sister and I are in a texting frenzy over here as we are discussing the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians! Kimmies new bodyguard / make out partner is hot! Has anyone else seen this???
Well I am off to get my Starbucks on, pick up some produce and some items from Whole Foods!!
What are your plans for the day?? What is your fave Reality tv show right now?? Mine is sooo Kardashians!

New Organic Brown Rice Protein Powdaaa
Posted on 05. Sep, 2010 by kris.
Heyyy!
How is your Saturday night going?? Did you have a great day? Fill me in! I want to know what you have been up to!
So this whole posting twice a day thang is pretty easy
I just need to remember to take a lot of pics so I can show proof to what I am telling you, LOL!
Today was a beautiful day here, sunny, not too hot, but warm enough to sit outside in a T and drink some decaf coffee.
I have been jingling out rhyming words lately and I am not sure where they are coming from, but I am.
*Side note – My mom and I are Rhymers….We usually write our birthday cards in the form of a cute rhyming poems. We both love doing it and it comes really naturally to us. I think she is a tad better with her words than I am, but I am not too shabby.
Anywho….moving along…
This mornings breakfast was New!! I have a new lover…a new brown lover..

So if anyone is in the market for a new protein powder and don’t want to spend the arm and the leg for the other big names, you will love this one!
Reasons I love my New Organic Brown Rice Protein Powder by Prairie Naturals:
1. It tastes super yummy! I got the Cafe Caramel Flavour and it tastes soooo good just alone with some Rice Milk!
2. Stirs up really nice with liquid. If you make a smoothie in the morning and take it to go, the protein doesn’t settle at the bottom.
3. Great in baked goods! I made some killer quinoa based protein bars with this and it adds such a wonderful taste!
4. High in protein – there is 24 grams of complete protein in a 30 gram serving.
5. Low Cals!
6. It tastes good….I know I said it before but I will say it again
From Prairie Naturals Site:
Prairie Naturals is the first in Canada to introduce Oryzatein™ Silk, the only concentrated protein made entirely from organically grown and sprouted brown rice. Prairie Naturals RiceProtein Powder is a balanced, complete protein containing all the essential amino acids. It has a Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCAAS) of 1, which is the same protein quality rating as whey, egg white and milk.
BOOM! I love this stuff!

I do still drink my Vega (of course…) but this and my pumpkin seed protein by Omega Nutrition are a close second
Today was Whole Foods lunch day and I picked up some of my favorite Dolmas for lunch, along with some Smart Water and a wheat free power cookie.
(cell phone pics…quality is outta control…)

The dolmas were supurb! Normally I find they sit in an inch of oil at the bottom of the corn container (hahaha, I just found out today that their containers aren’t plastic, but they are made out of corn!…jeez…where have I been?!) and these dolmas were not soggy or drippy, they were Dolma Perfection! I could have ate 12 of them I am sure.
The water, well was some good water
The cookies we took to go and headed to Starbucks for our warm bevy and munch on our cookies. They were “pretty good”. I definitely liked that there as chocolate chips in them and a variety of other seeds, raisins, and good junk…..but they had soy milk in them
Normally I steer clear of the soy (allergy) but today I said “screw it” and ate the effin cookie.
After my outing I came home, at some left over Thai Dinner and now I am deciding what to do with the rest of the evening.
What are you getting up to tonight? What is your favourite Whole Foods lunch item? Do you enjoy Brown Rice Protein Powder?
To Your Glam Life,

Kris’ August Favourites
Posted on 01. Sep, 2010 by kris.
Hola!
Happy Humpity- Hump day! WOOT!
Why am I in such a good mood?? The sun is out here in some spots this morning!
I decided I was not letting the dreary wet, gray stuff get me down, I can have sunshine in my head all day long. Lol, I just had the blinds closed in my office yesterday while I stare at my dream home in Hawaii on my Vision Board
Does the trick!
I am starting a Health & Wellness Blog movement! I want to hear all of YOUR fave items that you have been using over the month of August. Every first of the month I would love to hear new, old, fave or good products that you use and notice make a difference for you.
Do a video, Write a post, Come Post over here! I think we would all love to know what has been tickling your fancy.
Here are my August Favorites!
The video quality is very poor….Ryan took the HD camera and I was left filming off the mac
I am in love with my Omega Nutrition Apple Cider Vinegar and Coconut oil! Didn’t you just love the color of the nail polish??
Moving along, Ryan and I dated it up last night and went and saw some movies. I say “some” since we went to see Step It Up 3D (Thank you for all the Twitter votes my dear twittle heads! I had asked you on twitter what movie we should see and you totally made our decision for us!)
Anywho, we made it about 10 minutes into the movie before Ryan looked at me and said “Do you want to go see Takers instead?”
I don’t think we have ever left a movie to go see another!
Originally it was Ryan who really wanted to see Step It Up 3D…..he will kill me for saying this. But its true, he likes watching Dancing. hehe
It has to be like the crazy hip hop, break dancing stuff for him to watch it. Trust me I tried getting the boy to ballroom dancing lessions and there was a big fat NO all around that question.
So we are in the movie and he asks me if I want to leave, I ask “Why?” and he tells me “I hate dance movies where they ENHANCE the DANCE!”
What The #$@*^?
He disliked that because it was a movie they sped some of the dance moves up and it looked to fake to him. He wanted to see “REAL” American Dance Crew stuff and his love tank was not getting filled with Step It Up.
I was totally fine with leaving to change our tickets for Takers as I wanted to drool for 2 hours over Paul Walker anyways
Love him! Common…Anyone else out there a Paul Walker fan? Raise your hands for Fast and the Furious! WOOT WOOT!
We loved Takers, ate our snacks and left very happy
Well my friends I am out to get some work done. Chat with you online!
Tell me what you favorite Products or Things have been this August! I wanna know!!

Beach Attack and Eat Pray Love Review
Posted on 26. Aug, 2010 by kris.
Hey!
How is your morning rolling? Ahhhh I am staring out my window and the rain is coming down. This is a far cry from what it was yesterday – Hot Blazing Sun and Hot Temps!
Its a really good thing that Ryan and I decided to take full advantage of the summer heat last night and packed up our blanky, dog, and utensils and hit up Whole Foods for some dinner to go and set up our picnic on the beach.

The beach blanket menu consisted of Vegan Potato Salad (I have a mean recipe of my own!), Some asparagus, bean, cranberry salad, Dolmas, and Ryan had a mushroom soup!
Of course for dessert were some dark chocolate covered goji berries which finished off the meal very nicely
We had our guard set up so the other dogs wouldn’t mess with us or our food!

Unfortunately one little dog we didn’t know came over and started jumping all over us as we frantically lidded our meals! Errggg I feel that if you are at a beach and you know your dog doesn’t stay with you leash ‘em up! Don’t let it take over the whole beach
Oh! I almost forgot to discuss with you Eat Pray Love.

On Tuesday night (cheap Tuesday’s!) Michelle and I had our date night. We stocked up with dark chocolate goodies, decaf americano’s and sweaters to hid our bevy’s that we take in with us. shhhhh.
We got to our movie at 6:45 which was scheduled to start at 7pm and it was sold out! Good thing we have phones that connect to the internet on a whim so we could scour the other near by theaters and times. There are never any movies playing between 7 ish and 10 pm! Seriously Cineplex, where did the 8pm show times go??
Anywho, we ended up sticking it out until the 10pm showing. How was the movie? Just Okay.…I felt the book was better and the I cold have done without the whole India part. I personally felt that part was boring and too long.
Who else has seen this movie? What was your take on it?
I did however walk away with a lot of things to think about. A) You must take care of yourself for yourself. B) You MUST listen to what YOU Need! C) I MUST get back on my daily medi sesh’s to keep myself connected and grounded.
I can’t really agree with her eating habits in Italy because I would not be able to feast on all that carb and wheat action, but the food sure did look tasty!
So I can’t say the movie wasn’t good because I did have some thinking to do the whole way home (which was like 12:45 am since the movie is a long one!)
I walked into the condo at 1am with the lights out, Ryan crashed out, and the dog freaking out! I swear I woke up the whole building when I roll in
Feed back please! How did you like Eat Pray Love?? Did you learn anything from it? Do you take care of yourself first? Do you eat at the beach often in the summer?
**Remember to send Questions that you have for the next Vloggity to iheartwellness@gmail.com If you haven’t watched the last Vlog watch it now!

Nature’s Path Cereal Review and Accomplishments
Posted on 20. Aug, 2010 by kris.
Happy Friday!
Are you happy or what that the weekend is here and you can relax and play? I know I am super excited!
We have a dinner tomorrow night for my uncles birthday which is always fun and full of wine
I will be preparing a summer green salad to bring with me for the dinner and possibly another dish for us to eat, just in case.
WOW! I have been getting some great feed back on the social media outlets for the FREE GI JANE Bootcamp Giveaway! You still have some time to enter, if you haven’t yet!
I want to take you quickly back to yesterday……..sigh……yesterday was a GREAT DAY.
I was in my PJ’s when the courier dude rang the buzzer. To be honest I wasn’t really sure what was coming in the mail for me, but when I ran downstairs I had died and gone to cereal heaven!
My wonderful friends at Nature’s Path knew I wrote a post declaring my love for my Millet Flakes and sent me over 3 boxes of cereal to try!! SWOON or what?!

Hmmmm which one did I break into first? If you know me well, you would know that I have a weak spot for Maple (hey, I am a Canadian Gal after all) so I ripped right into the Crunchy Maple Sunrise. PURE BLISS.

Ryan and I crunched, and crunched saying “Mmmmmm, frig this is good…mmmm” between eat spoonful.
I ate it in the morning as soon as it was delivered. I ate in the evening after my dinner (wtf?). It is THAT good
For all of you cereal lovers out there, have you tried Nature’s Path brand?
The reasons I love this brand is that they bring the Cool Factor to eating Gluten Free. The boxes are cool, colourful and appealing which makes it even harder for me to resist them sitting in my cupboard.
There was a time that gluten-free cereal only came in a small section of the store and they were packaged like some foreign drug, you know? Not appealing and honestly the cereal itself tastes like the box it came in.
Nature’s Path has a large variety of GOOD tasting, healthy cereal. Moms out there, I think you should be stocking up on this instead of the sugary sweet lucky charms. You get more nutrients, less sugar, and a happy kid
**Side note, but related in someway – Did you know that 5% of school-grade children are affected with ADD or ADHD? They are saying that most kids don’t even suffer from this disease, it is actually caused by the children eating sugary breakfasts, getting hyper, half way through school loosing their focus due to the sugar crash and BOOM teachers complain, doctors prescribe meds and the little one believes that they have to struggle with this.
Naturopaths now suggest changing the diet first before resulting in the medications.
I actually find this so interesting and the last time I met with Brendan Brazier, he explained this.
Anyways, back to my glorious review! For myself, I can’t eat cereal every morning. Well, yes I could, but I don’t let myself. I can alternate between that or a Smoothie, or I save the cereal for the weekends
My little treat!
Before I forget I wanted to share with you a simple exercise with you that will bring you back to believing in yourself and a reminder of what you HAVE accomplished. Sometimes we are hard on ourselves and don’t actually let ourselves see how far we have come and what we have done.
Yesterday I saw my Life Coach and she told me that I am too hard on myself and need to be happy with my progress and my accomplishments to date. I wrote out this morning, before doing anything else what My Accomplishments were.
I listed out where I feel I am with myself inside, outside, how I now have my own voice, listen to MY needs, love myself, blogging, figured out my passions, I listed it ALL!

It felt amazing to actually see how far you have come. I invite you to try this tomorrow morning when you wake!
Gym time! I am off to the gym this morning as I have been pretty weak in that area for the last week or so…..today will be interesting
Do you eat cereal for breakfast? What is your take on the sugary cereals? Fave cereal right now? Do you show yourself love for you accomplishments?
If you liked this post, you will love me on social media

My Review on Apple Cider Vinegar and Its Health Benefits
Posted on 18. Aug, 2010 by kris.
Hey!
Happy Hump-Day! How is your day going?
Wow, the temp has dropped drastically here today. For the last few days it has been super hot here, but today it is a tad windy and chilly. I am actually in jeans and a t-shirt, no tank top!? UGH, I really love the heat, but can still handle the wind if at least it is sunny
Last night was our movie night and we went to see The Other Guys. It was just ok and I give it a 6.5 out of 10. There was some super funny parts I couldn’t stop laughing at, I just found it a bit too long. Ryan and I agree on the rating on this movie, so you know from both a male and girly perspective
Of course snacks were packed in the purse {cookies and chocolate covered blueberries from Whole Foods!} which always make a not so good movie, better

Movin along…..
In the big package of goodies from Omega Nutrition was a nice bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar {which I love in my Salad Dressings} and on my quest to find other recipes and options for this Apple Cider Vinegar I got my Google on. I found out that ACV is FULL of Healthy Benefits and is so good for our bods!
First off lets settle what Apple Cider Vinegar is. ACV is a completely natural product, brewed from the fermentation of apple juice to hard apple cider followed by a second fermentation to apple cider vinegar.
The vinegar contains many important minerals and trace elements such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, chlorine, sodium, sulfur, copper, iron, silicon and fluorine that are vital for a healthy body.
This sour liquid retains all the nutritional goodness of the apples from which it was made plus it is fortified with the extra acids and enzymes produced during the two fermentation steps.
It’s the final fitting of all these ingredients that give apple cider vinegar its amazing health benefits and amazing results!
*It is important to use organic apple cider vinegar and one that states it has “mother” in it.
The “mother” is a natural gelatinous substance formed during the last fermentation step. It may look icky, but it is full of benefits!! Drink it up
What is Apple Cider Vinegar good for?
Well, for me, I can honestly say it has helped my skin!! Thank the freakin’ goodness that it has and I have discovered this!
I have been drinking a tbsp at least twice a day in a tall glass of water. I have also been using it as a toner in the evening all over my face.
If you have oilier skin, or are looking to clear or minimize pore size or scarring, mix a splash of apple cider vinegar and a splash of water. Use a cotton ball to apply all over freshly washed skin. Works Wonders people!!
Drinking the Vinegar will also keep the skin glowing and your tummy happy!
I found this list of benefits online:
Natural Apple Cider Vinegar is a wonderful natural cure for a number of ailments which usually require antibiotics and other medications that have a number of side effects. In particular, Apple Cider Vinegar has been known to:
- Reduce sinus infections and sore throats
- Balance high cholesterol
- Cure skin conditions such as acne
- Protect against food poisoning
- Fight allergies in both humans and animals
- Prevent muscle fatigue after exercise
- Strengthen the immune system
- Increase stamina
- Increase metabolism which promotes weight loss
- Improve digestion and cure constipation
- Alleviate symptoms of arthritis and gout
- Prevents bladder stones and urinary tract infections
{source}
Yes, it does take a bit of time to get used to the taste and smelling of a salad when you go to bed, but trust me….it is worth it!
It has almost been a week for me drinking this cocktail and I am very pleased with my results
My insides and outsides feel better.
**It is also a good way to rid that pesky cellulite ladies!
Drink up!
I think it is absolutely beautiful that mother nature has remedies for so many things! I think combining mother nature with our positive minds can cure anything!
Well back to getting my work on…I am starbucks by the ocean enjoying the calmness of watching the boats go by. I flippin Love Summer!
Have you ever taken ACV for health benefits? Do you have a special home remedy you can’t live without??

Summer Night Market Adventures
Posted on 15. Aug, 2010 by kris.
Heyyyy!
I am so happy to hear you are all having a splendid weekend!
What have I been up to besides baking and eating my face off? Friends of ours came over on Thursday {Sam and Cindy} and Cindy has the most amazing looking clip in hair extensions in! I fell in love with them!
She let me try the piece on and it made my hair so much more full and long. I didn’t want these extensions to rock them everyday, but it is a nice change if you are heading out or shooting some fun photo’s.
Anywhoo, she told me she picked them up for dirt cheap at the Summer Night Market in Richmond {about 20 min from my place}. Ryan wasn’t super keen on the hair extension hunt, so Michelle came with me and we made it a date night!
Friday Summer Night Market Adventures!

We rolled into Richmond around 7pm, found a parking spot in the local Ikea parking lot and hoofed it to the outdoor market place.
The place is swarming with people eating some pretty funky things {octopus, fish balls, deep fried everything, etc}

Now I am not going to lie, I stood outside of these deep frying station with Michelle as she contemplated ordering a deep fried oreo “just to try it”. She declined by looking at me and saying “I will save myself from cardiac arrest tonight I think” Good choice Michelle
We continued our hair search with no luck. No fake hair to be found at the night market….
Better luck next time I guess. I am not sure how many times the kiosks there update their stock, but the market still runs until the end of September.
As you know from the Amazing Faux Peanut Butter Cookie recipe that I have been swooning over my new coconut flour! Oh my goodness, I have been sprinkling, dashing and pouring this all over everything! This is the only coconut flour I have ever purchased or had in the house that actually tastes of coconuts! Go figure.
Normally I buy Bob’s Red Mill brand and it always tastes a bit salty like baking soda to me. But this one by Omega Nutrition tastes of shredded fresh coconuts from Hawaii. I have been adding it to Ryan’s “BeefCake” smoothies {Putting his man muscle on vegan style} as he needs all the extra protein and good fats he can get.
I even sprinkle some on top of my green breakfast smoothie! LURVE IT

Coconut flour is a great alternative to wheat if you have a gluten intolerance. It is low in carbs, and high in absorbed fibre! Being high in fibre the coconut flour acts as a little broom that cleans out the intestines
This can prevent so many illnesses if you are clear of the toxin build up.
I love the taste of it and how it makes my cookies extra fluffly. I replace a 1/4 cup of the buckwheat flour in my baking with Coconut Flour and find it adds a divine taste and texture. A little more oomph to the good ol’ cookies!
What is your Favourite Gluten Free Flour? Do you have an issue with eating wheat? Do you enjoy Coconut Flour?

Omega! I am full of Nutrition! No Peanut Butter Cookies
Posted on 14. Aug, 2010 by kris.
Happy Saturday!
How is your a.m. going? Mine is going smoothly and warm. The heat has turned up again here in Vancouver! It is giving us one last big punch before it hits the road for a long and rainy winter
Remember how I mentioned that I have been taking Pumpkin Protein Powder in my green smoothies? Well the wonderful company that makes this vegan friendly, full of amino acids protein powder is Omega Nutrition. I sent them a little note to let them know how much I enjoy the powder and they sent me a wonderful package of goodies!
Well, you know me, I was like a kid in a produce department (wait! That’s me now….when I was a kid I was still eating candy) I was overjoyed and flat out happy to dive into these new products!
I decided to give the Garlic-Chili Flax Oil a whirl on the salad for lunch. I pondered what to match with it, but came decided to mix 2 tbsp flax oil, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar and 1 tbsp nutritional yeast.

Did you know Flax Oil is a natural source of Vitamin A, Plant Ligans, Plant Sterols, and Vitamin E. Not to mention the abundant amount of Omega 3’s!
This oil is FAB and with the Chili’s and Garlic it makes it even more delish. Chili improves circulation and Garlic that boosts your immune system.
Wonderful on Salads, Pasta, Veggies or drizzled on soup! Do not cook with this oil, but you can add it to hot foods once cooked
Perfection!
Then I went back to working online when I got an idea to make some cookies out of some of the tasty ingredients that were staring at me on the counter…..

No Peanut, Peanut Butter Tasting Cookies!

*Warning: These are dangerously heavenly I must warn you
1 1/2 cups buckwheat flour
1/2 cup coconut flour
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 tbsp flax meal (Nutri-Flax)
4 tbsp warm water
2 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp (heaping) pumpkin seed butter (omega nutrition’s is the best!)
1/2 – 1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together
Mix all wet ingredients together
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix well
Hand roll 1 inch balls and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet
Use a wet fork to press the cookies into 1/2 inch thick cookies
Bake for 12 minutes @ 350
Enjoy!
I have mentioned before that I am not a fan of pumpkin seed butter. It usually tastes funny to me, but seriously dolls, when I tell you this is the BEST pumpkin seed butter I am not lying.

It is salty just like peanut butter and this is why I love it and why it is amazing in baking! Peanuts are quite acidic on the bod, and pumpkin seed butter is an awesome alkalizing alternative
Well, I have a lot of experimenting to do with these products so watch out for a lot more baking. Hmmm I think I have to up my P90X this week
Well I am off to get some work done at S’Bucks, pick up some veg, enjoy the sun and then its a mystery. Movie maybe?
Do you eat peanut butter, almond butter or seed butters? How do you eat them? In baking, on sandwiches, fruit, veg? I totally enjoyed this Pumpkin Seed Butter on Black Kale leaves today and it was MARV!
To Your Glam Life,

Friday Review: Fancy Microplane Zester
Posted on 13. Aug, 2010 by kris.
Happy Friday!!
How is it going?? The weekend jitters are in all of us I can feel it! Smiles from the neighbours, “hello’s” from the starbucks strangers only seem to happen on Friday’s! I love ‘em.
So today I wanted to give you a little review on something that has won my heart over.
You know how I have been flattening my tummy with the special Flat Tummy Drink?

If any of you have tried this drink yet and have been grating your own ginger and cucumbers you will know it isn’t as easy as it looks.
I was using my regular old cheese grater to grate my ginger until my wonderful Nana picked me up the Microplane Fancy Zester.
I decided to shoot a little live action video for you all. A little viewing pleasure for a Friday morn
No more grated knuckles! This kitchen gadget is marv and a serious necessity now for my baking, juice making, and nutmeg grating
This microplane grater is made out of surgical grade steel, is dishwasher safe and I hear through the grapevine it can also be used on your feet. I wouldn’t suggest it if you are using this in your kitchen, but a very awesome tip to know
My new fancy zester is not only for lemons and ginger. This bad boy is freaking fantastic with nutmeg, garlic, oranges, limes, hard cheese, chocolate (perfect little chocolate shavings….hello!) and so much more.
This is my fave kitchen utensil right now.
Before I sign off from this post I want to let you know I have a tasty cookie recipe for you later and I get to show you all the wonderful goodies I was given yesterday!
**OH you are NOT going to want to miss an AMAZING GIVEAWAY I have coming up very soon!! Keep checking back, you will love it! I swear on RPattz
Now, I must get my list for today completed. I am shooting some videos with Ryan (wish me luck), blogging, laundry, and cleaning. Phew.
Have a FAB day!
What is your Favourite kitchen gadget right now? Does kitchen utensils and gadgets excite you? They never used to for me. It seems the older I get the more appreciation I have for them.
To Your Glam Life,
xxoo
