Happy Tuesday Everyone!
It is a very nice day here today (at least for right now…sometimes the weather changes here often!).
I was m.i.a yesterday as I was hardcore doing taxes. A very fun way to spend a rainy Monday
The great news is they are complete, and I can now breathe again.
Because I was so busy yesterday I did not have time to make it to the grocery store before dinner, so lucky I was at my parents doing the taxes and my lovely mom gave me some food items for dinner! HAHA, I tell ya, you never get too old to raid your ‘rents kitchen!
She was kind enough to supply me with rice noodles, mushrooms, zucchini, spinach and a can of all natural olives! I already had tomato sauce from the pizza the night before, so I whipped up a very late pasta dish.

Natural Black Olives aren’t even that black!!

I am officially addicted to olives. I eat them alone, in my dinner and today for lunch I had a salad drenched in them! I don’t even know why I think they are so good, but they are my favourite thing right now!
You must try this Natural Value brand, their olives ROCK!
Unfortunately today the family and I are off to a funeral for a neighbour that has passed away. I just filled up on my salad with olives, so I think it shall keep me full for a while.
I will be back with an AMAZING, easy dessert recipe!!
Do you like olives? Do you eat the all natural kind?

i LOVE olives…my favorites are the varietals you can find at authentic Italian places now…they just marinate them in olive oil and citrus zest. YUM!

I’m a huge olive fan!!! I’m not terribly picky at all. It gets even better when they are stuffed with jalapenos. MMMM

I used to be able to find this great Greek pizza with feta and olives on it…I think that discontinued that brand which is too bad.
I think the only time I have had olives is on pizza or possibly in greek salads.
Possibly in spaghetti sauce also.

I used to eat green olives by the jars back in the day. I think I burned myself out though. I’m more of a sweets person now rather than sour.

I love olives….. NOW… Everyone I knew raved about olives and their tasty goodness, I seriously wasn’t getting it… Sooooo, I set myself a challenge, to eat a few olives a day, I would get my chefs to order in all different varieties… I guess, my taste buds eventually caught on… Totally get your love of em Kris!
Olives taste great with everything.

Thanks for sharing and well done getting the taxes out of the way!

Funny thing is I just started eating olives. I use to hate them now love them. Crazy, right? Back in November I started following the eat clean lifestyle and found that my tastes changed a lot and now my husband wants to know what I did with his wife. =)
