Hey, Hey, Haaaayyyyy!!
Happy Sunday!
How has your weekend been going? Mine has been going wonderfully well.
Last night was our dinner with date with our new friends Kate and her husband Sukhi. We went to a local Indian Restaurant ate our faces off and chatted the night away! The four of us have so much in common and before we knew it we were closing the restaurant down.
Can you believe I didn’t even take pics of my meal? Great food blogger I am
Ryan and I shared the Channa Massala with mild spice {I ate most of this dish} and an Aloo Gobhi with extra hot spice {Ryan ate all of this one. Because he is half Japanese he likes things “wasabi” hot} and a side of fancy rice.
I also splurged on a wonderful glass of BC white and enjoyed every sip until a bug flew into it.
If you knew me, you would know that I always get bugs in my wine. I think it is because I am always thinking that I am going to get that bug in my wine now. See, what you think about, you bring about. If you watched my Video Vision Board training video {newsletter subscribers only - So sign up now to receive it!} you would know all about this
Before our wonderful evening out, I was busy at home. I did some laundry, wrote out my week ahead, worked out, and made a batch of Flat Tummy Drink.
What is this Flat Tummy Drink you ask?
I was visiting with Ryan’s mom the other day and she showed me a new cookbook she purchased “Flat Belly Diet!” and told me about this drink that helps you get your flat belly!
The ingredients in this drink are alkaline, promote “movement” in the body and hydration.
The key to weight loss is to remove those toxins that live in the belly, cellulite, and areas of the body. Being properly hydrated and urinating {sexy, I know} frequently will speed up the fat removal from the body.
I was super excited to get on this drink and while grocery shopping I picked up the ingredients and whipped some up yesterday. Tastes like heaven and weight loss
Flat Tummy Drink:

2 organic lemons
1/2 organic cucumber
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
1 bunch chopped fresh mint leaves
6 cups – 8 cups filtered water
Directions:
Wash the lemons, cucumbers and mint leaves well {they will be sitting in your drinking water}
Grate the ginger and a quarter of the cucumber. Slice the remaining quarter of the cucumber.
Squeeze 1 and a half lemons into a large water jug, slice the other half of the lemon and add the slices to the jug along with the remaining ingredients.
Let the jug full of goodness sit in the fridge for a bit to get the full flavour. Sip on this refreshing bevy throughout the day!
You will love the taste and how refreshing this is!

Ginger is extremely good for your digestion and is wonderful for gentle detoxifying
Well I am off t walk the poochy poo around the sea wall! Enjoy your day!
Do you enjoy fruit in your water? How much water do you think you drink a day? Do you have any “flat tummy secrets” you can share?
To Your Glam Life,
xxoo
Kris

“tastes like heaven & weight loss” – I LOVE THAT!! Can’t wait to try this
I usually have a glass of lemon water in the morning but this is a great way to ramp it up!
My other tip would be dry skin brushing as it boosts circulation and gets everythin a movin!

I usually just drink my water plain. I try to get at least 64 oz a day not including what I drink during my workouts. Hope you’re having a great Sunday!

You are an amazing water drinker girl!! Love it!

I don’t mind fruit in my water but the majority of the time I prefer to just drink it plain and I drink about 8-9 cups a day. Usually. Sometimes. That’s what I’m aiming to drink because I feel SO much better when I drink more water.

That drink sounds so refreshing! I love lemon in my water but usually drink it plain. I drink so much water. I don’t even know how to count it all.

Are you supposed to eat all of the “stuff” in there too? Or just drink the water?
This looks interesting. I”m going to try it.
