Hey!!!
Happy Monday
Hope you in-joyed your weekend!
Thank you for all the wonderful comments and suggestions on the Flat Tummy Drink! I am sippin’ some of it now.
This morning I omitted the cucumber just because I didn’t have any left and I think I like it better.

Over the weekend I spent a lot of time reflecting on myself, my life, my action, the blog and what level I will take everything to. This meant I spent a lot of time at the beach (my comfort place) thinking and outlining.
Of course I am happy with most areas of my life, but I believe I have a lot of improving and changing to do. I am still on my way of me finding that connection that I can feel with myself and others without judging and thinking too hard about it. I am not even sure if that makes sense or not? ;)
I decided that starting today I am on a 30 day mindset overhaul! I feel internally that I have some “glaming” up to do and I was so excited to wake up this morning to get it on! I am totally open with myself on the blog and what I share, you I hope you can help me or learn from my next 30 days!
Meditation was first on my list. It has been a while since I actually had a meditation schedule and really followed it. I used to meditate before hitting the sack, but felt that I probably was sleeping more than I was actually calming the mind.
For the next 30 days I will be meditating first thing in the a.m. for at least 15 minutes. This will allow me to get my mind right for the day, clear my clutter, and be close to my inner glam. WOOT WOOT
I have also been really focused on my feelings these last few days. Being aware of how your body feels is so important and helpful for all areas of your life.
For me to really feel my inner glam I had to make sure the outer glam was matching as well. I guess from the night before eating foods I wasn’t used too I felt heavy and not as pure. It was amazing that I was able to feel this and know that I had to increase my water and green foods to bring myself back to a feeling of balance inside.
I was also Tested yesterday and reminded it is also important to be aware of how others make you feel and learn to either let it roll off of you if someone put you in a funky mood or embrace it if they raised you up to super high vibes!
While walking the sea wall yesterday with Ryan and Hudson we had stopped at 3 little boys having a lemonade stand. I thought how cute of these little entrepreneurs workin it! I was flipping through my wallet to get some cash for them as this grumpy old dude stopped us and said “Did you read the sign back there?” ”No sir, we didn’t”
He insisted that he pull us over there to show us that NO DOGS were allowed on this part of the sea wall. I was fuming inside that A.-He ruined my moment with me feeling good helping these 3 little boys and B. -That he had the nerve to be all up in my biz. I felt that he could have been nicer about it and that why did it really matter to him anyways?
So I stopped took some deep breaths and realized I can’t change what just happened, he can’t change my mood and decided to forgive him and let it go.
In the Add More ~ing To Your Life book it says to stop and allow yourself to feel for 90 seconds after you are in a situation.
I could really feel my mood change after the elderly man issue and I had to fight to allow myself to not be bothered with it. This will get better over the next 30 days
I am happy about that!

It is mucho important to keep yourself eating properly to feel good. The food you eat is huge for your energy and your overall vibing!
If you are eating whole nutritious foods that are “high vibers” you will get that back as well.
Yesterday’s Get Me Out Of The Dumps Food:
Bowl of Fresh Fruit: 1/2 and apple, 1/2 a grapefruit, and 1 plum
1 large Green Smoothie with Vanilla Chai Vega, 1/2 frozen banana, spinach, chia seeds and hemp milk
2 Vegan Dreamy Decadent Cookies
1 decaf americano (what can I say…it was Sunday
)
A LOT of water and 1 litre Lemon Water (For bringing my bod back to alkaline)
Cucumber and Carrot slices
A Whole Food Vibrancy Vega Bar (I was eating anything green!)

A mondo salad with Asian Portobellos, bok choy and fresh peas.

Another cookie……
A plum and another spinach salad
Of course I needed to have a good stress reliever workout in the afternoon as well and rocked out P90X Kenpo along with 15 minutes on the ‘mill while listening to Dynamite by Taio Cruz
Felt like heaven!
I am happy to report today I am back to myself and enjoyed my morning medi and feeling exercise

You are so right about it being up to us as to how we let others affect us. I recently realized this with a “friend.” There’s no need to spend the energy on negative people like that. Hope you’re having a great day!

Great point with a lot of points I can relate too. Meditating in the morning is a great idea that I’d like to try too, it makes more sense to sort the mess out for the day so to speak.
For me cardio is a great stress buster, sweating to a great playlist and getting the blood flowing helps me blow off steam and feel better.

Hey Kris! Sorry about the bugger old man. It’s so important to realize that you cannot change how someone else treats you, but only how you respond to it as well as how you treat yourself and others. I’m going to try your “flat-tummy” drink when I get all the ingredients.
Take care,
Kilee

I think meditating in the morning would be so powerful. I never give myself enough time in the morning to do something like that …maybe I should:)
What a bummer with the grump on the sea wall…like Hudson was blocking the whole darn thing LOL! Some people can only complain! Way to go in letting it go though..that take guts!
Love all the green eats!! Those bars look yummy! Cute picture of you two too!
Exercise or simply walking away from the situation helps me a lot!
I don’t meditate but if I did definitely with music…something really quiet and classical-esque!
Enjoy Breaking Dawn!!

I really like the idea of letting yourself “feel” your feelings after an encounter. I think I can be quick to jugde sometimes and would really like to change that. This tip will help!
Enjoy breaking dawn! I often wonder how they will ever make that one into a movie.
