Hey!
How is everyone?
I had a wonderful weekend! On Saturday Kris and I took it to the beach and did a “little” work out which we videotaped and wanted to share with all of you! After our Saturday date, I went to Chambar for some vino with my girlfriends. It’s always an amazing time at Chambar. The atmosphere there is mellow and just pure enjoyment. They have the best wine list (and beer list) in all of Vancouver, but be prepared to fork over a pretty penny. A perfect bottle of wine there unfortunately doesn’t cost $19.99… We wound up at Club 560, which is a 4 level gay club, so it was A LOT of dancing… like crazy dancing! Those boys know how to shake it! I’m sure I burned more calories swing dancing then I did running the beach in West Vancouver!
You all know that I’m on the serious weight-loss plan, so I have to admit that last night I was supposed to run for 30 minutes and do some Body Rockers exercises but I didn’t have time. I know that’s a poor excuse but in my defense my little Smart Car (I call him “pumpkin” because he’s orange or as they call it “phat red”) had a tire issue. I was driving down Main Street with my window down and I smelt burning rubber and then my car began handling funny, so naturally you look around thinking its someone else’s car. WRONG! It was definitely my pumpkin. I pulled over in the Home Depot parking lot and my tire was completely flat. After spending a couple hours waiting for my parents to come pick me up and a tow truck to arrive, I got home a wee bit late. With that being said, I promise you (more like I’m promising myself) that I will run for an extra 15 minutes tomorrow and do a longer arms, abs and leg workout to make up for the not exercising.
Kris and I wanted to share with you some of our go to exercises that we absolutely love! They make your thighs burn, arms shake and abs quiver. These simple moves will gain some big results.. just wait and see a two months from now when my D- day is! I swear by the Tone It Up ladies so we incorporated a few moves from their itty bitty bikini workout in our video. Now, please note that this video is our review of the moves and the moves we love. Neither Kris nor I are professional trainers (even though we like to think we are
15 Minute Tighten Tuesday:
Tomorrow night is Game 7 for all that watch hockey! So I will be out on the streets with the rest of Vancouver soaking in the positive energy and excitement. I will report back after we win the Stanley Cup
(positive thinking!). I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week!
What is your favourite workout routine? What kind of cardio do you enjoy?
xoxo,
Michelle

What a cute video! I love doing a fast and sweaty mile and then weight lifting, targeting certain areas. Also, when I’m feeling bored, I’ll do a cardio circuit of 1 mile run, 1 mile elliptical and 1 mile bike.

Thanks for the ideas Alexa! I’m definitely going to try your cardio circuit! I need more variety then just running.

You guys are awesome!! This video was so cute!!
I LOVE the ab ideas for sure. If you don’t have an medicine ball, I’m sure you could just use something from the kitchen? Maybe a big water bottle?

You are always thinking Jessica! Yes, a full water bottle or maybe some large tomato cans! Whatever you can get your hands on that has a comfortable weight would work
