Happy Treat Friday <3!!
How the heck are ya?? I hope you are all ready and ripped for the weekend! It is Canada Day here {Happy Birthday Canada!} and the streets are flooded with people trying to get their way out of town and FINALLY enjoy some summer time weather
Me on the other hand is staying home, will hit the beach and have a very special Nacho Date with Michelle on Sunday evening!! Who would give up Nacho Night for a weekend away like the rest of the folk? Not me!
Yesterday was a FAB day as I am fully into my Candida Diet that I am following from Healthy Hoggin’ {thanks Megan for all your Love and Support!!} and have been in serious, obsessive, call you in the middle of the night multiple times LOVE with this Choco-Avo Milkshake! Oh yea…this Milkshake Brings All The HEALTHY Boys to the Yard! You heard it here first, I like my men healthy…and buff
I do have a confession though….Ryan took me to the beach and to my favorite coffee shop in the morning and I had a Decaf Americano!! I don’t know if that is “Kosher” on my plan, but I enjoyed every stinking sip. Happy Dance! I sipped as Ryan did his business calls from the patio on his Blackberry! We had some SUPER FAB News – We hit a new rank in the Company we Distribute for and we are BMW Qualified….meaning We Get a FREE Bimmer!!! In Black
Fingers crossed we pick her out next month! YAY! But…not sure when we actually get her.
This just means I get to sell my beauty and upgrade after the 4 glorious years we have had her! So long ago that I was a blond!!! LOL!
Today we have more important things to talk about than cars, business and coffee shops, we have Chocolate Cinnamon Mousse to talk about!
Dang this shiz is good……
While on my “This Gal Gets Buff” program I have decided to follow a Candida Cleanse Diet as I know that my body doesn’t always react well to fruit and high sugary legumes and grains {ie. Skin Irritation!} and I really enjoy losing the layer of fat that lives on my body, so I have added in Goat Chedda, some Whey Protein and upped my Vegetable intake to the sky. I feel amazing and am noticing I am getting buff. All in all, its working out.
But you know me, I need me a sweet to fill these 32 sweet teeth I have, so I had to come up with something that was Slimming, Good For Me, and Sweetened with Stevia as I can eat this leaf while on “Candida Control”. Freak Yeah!
Slimming Chocolate Cinnamon Mini Mousse:
*Makes enough for 2 mini mousses
1.5 tbsp Coconut Oil
4 tbsp Cocoa Powder
5 tbsp Almond Milk {unsweetened}
1/2 tsp powdered Stevia
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 square 88% Dark Chocolate for topping {optional, but divine}
To Make Slimming Chocolate Cinnamon Mini Mousse: In a large mixing bowl mix together the dry ingredients.
Add in the coconut oil and almond milk and mix with a hand mixer until smooth and fluffy!
Dollop into bowls or glasses and use your microplaner to grate chocolate over mousse
BOOM!
I hope you enjoy this Body Friendly Treat!!
What are you Treating on Today???
To Your Glam Life,
xxoo

Wow girl, nice work on the car upgrade. And i like the looks of that dessert. Never been much of a chocoaholic until recently, weird but I think with pregnancy and mamahood, my savoury ‘tooth’ went out the windown

As someone who tried this recipe I feel compelled to write a warning comment. Sorry Kris, I followed it to a T and it tasted awful. I cook healthy and low sugar all the time, so it’s not just that I don’t like things that aren’t loaded with sugar.
The texture was more like runny pudding than mousse and it did not taste even remotely good.
But that’s OK, when experimenting with recipes not everyone’s a winner.

Sorry to hear this Sara…I much prefer my greek chocolate mousse with stevia right now

Ya. I got runny pudding too… But loved the taste! And I had a mixer with only one beater so that could have been the problem…
