I Love Myself For ________ Exercise

Happy Weekend!

How are you on this beautiful morning?

We were supposed to get 100km winds here last night so I braced myself, got super excited to go for a late night walk in the blustery wind and nothing happened.  We waited up till midnight watching Zookeeper {we’re party animals} and no wind came.

But we did experience a huge hail storm and then some sunshine on Hudson’s Birthday yesterday!  Every year on Hudsy’s birthday we always take him to the local Dog Barkery where he picks out a toy and a Birthday Goodie.

Yesterday he choose this guy……

Lamb Choppy…….

We also tried on a dashing sweater.

Love this little stinker…..god he’s cute.

And he chose Peanut Brittle Dog Treats for his birthday Goodie :)   He was a happy camper.

This morning was an early rise and I love that on Saturday’s.  I love waking up and making fresh granola, sipping my warm water and eating my gummie vitamins at a leisure…..

Breakfast this morning:

Honey Sweetened Cinnamon Granola topped with Blackberries and Banana and unsweetened Almond Milk by {Earth’s Own}.

I also have a nice rich smoothie packed of Protein, Almond Milk, Spinach and half a Banana….with a few frozen Blackberries and Ice Cubes :)

I met with Ann before all the birthday festivities happened yesterday and we ran through an exercise of “I Love Myself For _________”

The exercise is to list everything that you Love Yourself For today. It’s interesting to see what you allow yourself to feel love towards and where you give yourself credit.  For myself the list started off small, but as I really opened up I started to love flow where everything came flying out onto that sheet.  I really kinda love what I’ve been doing ;)

What this does is allows you to open up and actually start your self lovin’ journey and “pat yourself” on your back ;)   This starts the self love engine if you will.

I would love to see how  you find this exercise and if love comes flowing through you and if you shine self love!!

    Awwww, Hudson looks adorable!! And I used to LOVE watching Lamb Chop!!

    Today, I love myself for taking a break from everything yesterday & spending the whole day out with my man and our friends. I love myself for taking the break because I deserve it, and because I am now feeling fully motivated to tackle the household chores & get some homemade pizzas prepared for the coming week :)

    Hudson looks adorable!! Crazy wind…it was suppose to reach 70 mph in Fort Collins yesterday…went for a walk before work and really had to brace myself…resistance walking..I think so! :)
