Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Protein Nuggets

Happy Weekend, Doll!

How are ya??

Its the weekend and I am up early.  What the heck is going on??

Michelle is coming to get me at 10am so we can get some coffee and head to the mall to find her the most perfect, fashion forward outfit for her birthday party!  I love being the one that gets to say “Yay” or “Nay!”  I might also need her voice to tell me when a new pair of denim looks bangin on me.  If the skinnies don’t bang, we put them back.

Yesterday was grocery day!!  Before I got started on my marathon shop, I stopped for a little late morning snack and coffee and Whole Foods.  My tummy wanted endless amounts of freshly baked muffins, but my head told me to try plain yogurt with stevia and nuts :)

After shopping it was gym time!!  I worked out with the newest ZWOW #7 workout and loved it!  I also tagged on a 15 min elliptical sweat.  I am digging the changes my body are going through right now.  I think the high protein diet is working fabulously and like I shared yesterday, Protein can be added to treats or snacks to give your muscles and extra puff.  If you missed the Peanut Butter Protein Snack Cookies, check them out now!

Ryan has not cut out grains and honestly I haven’t been so strict with this lately, so I’ve been nibbling on some of the treats I want to share today.  These are muscle bulking treats ;)

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Protein Nuggets:

1/2 cup Oats
2 packs NuNaturals Stevia
1/2 tsp Vanilla
2 Scoops Vanilla Protein Powder {I used Vi-Shape – not vegan!}
1/4 cup Peanut Butter
1 small Banana {mashed}
3 tbsp mini Chocolate Chips

To Make Chocolate Chip Oat Protein Nuggets: Preheat oven to 350.

In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix well!

Drop 1 tablespoon amount of batter for each nugget onto a parchment lined cookie sheet.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

As I shop today, some of these might be living in my purse for me to dip into when needed.  Treat Responsibly and ALWAYS have Healthy Snacks for Shopping Tummy Attacks!

Comment Below! What are your plans today??  Working out?

To Your Glam Life,

xxoo

    Yay for more protein treats! I hit the gym HARD today. I did a ginormous lower body workout that left my legs feeling like jello. I’m proud of myself for pushing it…but man was I happy to sit down afterwards. At least I will sleep well tonight :)
