Peanut Butter Protein Coconut Rice Treats

Happy Wednesday, Doll!

How the heck are ya??  Are you having a great morning?

Thank you for the lovin’ yesterday after I admitted I was sippin’ a little to much the on Monday Eve at Michelle’s dinner.  I actually felt GREAT after a nice nights sleep and a lot of water.

I feel a little treat always helps the cause a bit and a good sweaty workout!

So yesterday I did both.  I rocked out a a Fabulous Sweat at the gym…with my partner in crime.

This is usually how we roll on a daily….

I forgot my towel and had to use my Lulu Scuba Hoodie as my shield against germs ;)

If you saw on Facebook, I shared that I’m going to be opening the vault and creating a program for diet and workouts that I do that have totally TRANSFORMED my body and have allowed my muscles to appear and be lean and mean.  Exciting??  YES!

After I chiseled my body, I had a smoking hawt shake full of Greens!!

Then, I made myself a lil treat!

How many times have you seen a Rice Crispy Treat here on the blog??  Come’on, you know I’m a fan of the snap, crackle and pop sweet goodies, like here and here, but yesterday I kept it even MORE healthy and more Diet Friendly for the bikini’s that will enter my life very soon.

Shall we touch base on these….or what??

Before I get this question, yes I am still about 95% grain free, but do have a bit of gluten free grains here and there, mostly on the weekend if I feel the need.  Soooooo today, I felt the need.  Crispy Rice Cereal was in my day and it felt good, so good.  Will I eat them on a daily?  Nope.  I still feel really good being off grains and my skin is REALLY thanking me ;)

Ok, ok, the treat for you today is fun, let’s jump in!

Peanut Butter Protein Coconut Rice Treats:

*Makes 3 good treats

1/2 cup Crispy Rice Cereal

1 tbsp Coconut Oil

1 tbsp Peanut Butter {heaping}

2.5 tbsp Protein Powder {I used Vi-Shape Shake Mix in Sweet Cream}

6 drops Vanilla Liquid Stevia

To Make Peanut Butter Protein Coconut Rice Treats: In a small sauce pan heat the coconut oil, peanut butter and stevia.  Stir until the peanut butter is smooth and creamy.

Mix in the protein powder and the rice treats.

Mold into treats and place on a parchment lined plate.  Place in the freezer for 30 minutes before nibbling.

*I make these with a very vanilla “cake” tasting protein, if you’re using a different one, you might need more stevia.

Have you been digging all these treats lately??  I’m a stevia FREAK over here.  Ahhhh its crazy!

Now, today is a bunch of appointments, a Whole Foods shopping trip and a challenge party this evening!  You’ll be seeing my face online, so connect on Facebook and Twitter!

Comment Below! What is your favorite cereal treat??

To Your Glam Life,

xxoo

    I am really looking forward to your diet/workout plan! If I don’t take a class at the gym, I’m like a deer in the headlights because I have no idea what to do when it comes to weights on my own :)

    Yummy, yummy treats girl!

    Cereal is usually a special treat in and of itself for me, but I too really like rice krispee treats. it’s funny since I’m not normally a huge marshmallow person.

    I cannot wait to hear about your diet/workout plan! I recently started doing more intense strength training, but i hardly have any kind of ‘plan’ and I really like the results so far, but as always, sort of reached a plateau.
    old fashioned rice krispie treats with chocolate chips stirred in before setting = childhood favorite. forever and always.

    so excited for the workouts and diets to come! My favourite cereal is anything with oats in it. I love love love granola and granola bars. My favourite cereal treat would have to be kashi go lean peanut butter bars. When I go back to america I always pick up a box and savour each one. Bliss!

    I love lil treats like this one…I used to make rice crisps all the time…but feels like it’s been too long! :) Maybe after I do my little green smoothie challenge (I need a reset) I will have these!

    Oh don’t worry, I’m a Stevia freak too! I go through a bag of baking Stevia in no time at all– throwing it into everything!
