Hi Everyone!
Ahhhhh Sunday, how I love you – wake up leisurely, have breakfast leisurely and then whatever activities make you happy! I had a lunch meeting this afternoon which was great, and that makes me happy ![]()
Like I advertised on Facebook and Twitter, I had my own personal stylist yesterday – my sister!
I wanted a new “business” kind of look and she needed to style someone for an upcoming project (she is currently back in school following her fashion dream!) so out to the mall we went. Well first we stopped at wholefoods to have some lunch and then we hit the mall!
Something young, but something business was difficult for me because I am not the one to wear frumpy clothes. So she put together this little number. I am in love with blazers right now and usually rock them with jeans, but never a skirt like this!
(s0rry its a tad blurry – iphone picks taken quickly, as you are not allowed to snap shots in stores!)

Cute, right?
I have said this a few times, but my sister has an amazing shoe blog if you are interested in fashion and shoes – check it out!
After our lovely styling session and bad photo opts, we headed to starbucks (what we do best) and sipped americanos while we chatted. We chatted a lot about my Ann appointment I had last week. There is no better listener and “non judger” as your sister!
FOOD!
I whipped up these amazing raw bars that taste of caramel! They are beyond delicious and so easy to make. These are going to be our watch a movie snack tonight
My sister used to make these bars, or very similar bars to this when she had gone all raw for a detox she was doing. Ahhhhh MAZING Bars!
Coconut Dream Bars:

Crust:
1 1/2 cups pecans
1/2 cup raisins or dates
Filling:
1 cup shredded coconut
3 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp raw almond butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp agave nectar
raw cocoa nibs or dark chocolate (optional)
Directions:
1. Place the pecans and raisins or dates in a food processor and process into a sticky meal.
2. Pour crust into a glass baking dish (I used an 8×8 dish) – Pack down into a thin crust
3. Place all other filling ingredients into the food processor
4. Pour filling on crust and level out. Sprinkle with chocolate if desired.
5. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes and cut into squares.

Enjoy!
Have you ever had a stylist? Would it be something you would love to have?
XXOO
Kris
