Happy Weekend, Doll!
How are ya??
Thank you for your loving and encouraging words as I went in for my first Fractional Laser appointment to help with any old scarring I had.
I’ve been excited to get this done for a while, obviously, but they are expensive treatments, so I had to wait until now
Yesterday I was excited to hop in the chair and work on my fresh new face, until she did the first laser beam that I swear went straight into my soul. This laser hurt like a beast, tears were streaming down my face and I wanted to scream “STOP” every time she’d start a new batch of cheek to work on….The whole time I kept thinking, “Why am I paying for this torture again???” Oh yea, oh yea, smooth skin
The laser feels like a million bees stinging your face.
If you look closely there is a “Grid” on my face from where the laser was shot and oddly enough I look like the tough part of the skin on packaged tofu…do you know what I mean???
Anyways….yesterday I was BEAT Red and Splotchy…
Today…well today is another story…
I can’t even show a pic of how bad it is as the picture won’t even show that my face is literally 5x bigger than it normally is.
Ryan says he feels like he’s dating me at 18 when I was chubbier and drank a lot of beer
LOL. Its true. I look like a cabbage patch kid. Not good!
Hopefully this swelling goes down by later today as I have dinner plans….eeeekkkk…if not, I cancel.
I can only wear mineral makeup for this next week, I can not use any of my Clinique 3 Step System due to harsh exfoliators, and have to watch my sun sitting
I picked up a thing of Cetephil cleanser as it is said to be “gentle” so we’ll see how that goes!
Today I am itching to workout but I have to wait until after 3pm to get back into the gym as it has to be 24 hrs since my appointment to allow heat back into my body….
The scary thing is??? I need at least another 2 appointments of bees stinging my cheeks. UGH.
I’m going to go drown my puffy cheeks in coffee…have a great day!
To Your Glam Life,
xxoo
Kris

Very cool Kris! I can’t wait to see the results. I like to do microdermabrasion. I am very interested in seeing how this works out. You look so cute all puffy!

I”m so sorry you are so uncomfortable and that the treatment was so painful! You are soooo tough!

Awww Kris – try not to worry about the swelling it will go down soon enough. I think you look great – just make sure to stay out of the sun and bright lights while you are healing!! (I think you owe yourself a nice dinner out after all the pain today – don’t cancel those plans!)

Haha, oh no I totally forgot about the puffy face! The first time I got it done, the puffiness was gone after 2 days, but the next time yah, that took about 1 week!!! before the puffiness went down. I felt like I had just gotten my wisdom teeth out. That is for sure the worst part. It will be worth it in the end girl! Have a great day xo

Oh you poor thing…hope the swelling goes down quickly!

I have had laser done to my skin years ago when I was in college. I did a few sessions, so I know your pain. It was not the same as we got done, I am not even sure what it was called. haha. wishing you all the best!

Hi Kris hope you’re enjoying your weekend! I have a question about hair loss. I feel the cleaner I get with my diet the more strands of hair fall out. I wanted to know what I can do and should I start taking a B vitamin supplement? And which shampoo’s I could possibly use to help with it. I feel that the natural shampoos I have tried have not been a help. Help!!!

Hi Kris, I’m not sure if this will be helpful or applicable. But I receive laser treatments for a birthmark on my face. I find that if I put ice on it right after treatment for about 10 minutes, the treated area doesn’t swell as much. Also, I put a pure vitamin E cream on the area at night to help speed the healing process. Oh and there is a numbing ointment your doctor can prescribe if the pain gets to be too much. Hope this helps and best of luck!
