Scheduling Sleeps and Eats

Happy Thursday, Doll!

How are ya??

So its Thursday, which means we are so uber close to the weekend and that makes a lot of people happy, including me!  I love the vibes of the weekend and I love that I have a couple plans this weekend that make my heart full, like meeting with my Friend, Coach and Mentor, Ann.  Lovely, Ann!  I also know that I get to fill my belly with good healthy eats from Whole Foods, because we always do that over the weekend…..and getting some shopping in!

Momma needs some new things.  New Lulu….I actually think I need one of those Lululemon headbands that people wear when they crush their workouts, you know the ones??  They are bright and cute?  yea, my bobby pins are not keeping my “friends” away {aka Baby Hairs} out of my face like I need them to.  So a new headband thing is in order.  Gawd, workout stuff is so cute, huh??

I realized during this Phase 2 of the LiveFit that being more active with the heavy weights and the cardio requires a lot out of your body….this means I need more recovery time, but hadn’t fit that in until this week.  Naughty Naught.  Sleep over the last few months has been minimal for us running a business and fitting everything in, but the other day my body had enough.  It was 10:00pm and I was exhausted, fell asleep on the couch and that is soooo not like me.

My muscles need a healthy sleep schedule.

Over the last 4 days I MADE myself be in bed at the latest 11pm.  My alarm was set for morning, but I always snooze twice before rising.  Ahhhh so nice!  So I’ve been getting ultimate sleep and I feel amazing!

A sleep tip I can give you is, sleep with the window a tad open, they say you sleep better when you’re cooler and its true…at least for me it is ;)

I also will listen to tranquil music while falling asleep, usually one filled with self loving affirmations, like this one:

Self Love Affirmations

Since I realized scheduling my sleep is JUST as important as scheduling my eats on this plan, I have a schedule for everything it seems.

I’m not going to lie, I love my schedules.

I’m that kinda gal ;)

Lately on my eats has been Fruit in my Salad Tornado’s, last night was Pears!  YUM!

I’ve also been making about a batch of Mini Mint Coconut Creams a day…thank god the Light Canned Coconut Milk is on sale at Whole Foods.

I have a 2 hour schedule for my eats and when I let that slip…..goodness, my body tells me I missed it!  I get cranky and I get REALLY hungry!!  So I always carry nuts and cookies with me :)

Ohhh in other IHW News, I think I wan to cut my hair!!

What do you think about this??  I feel since its Spring I need a new do!  Something Fresh!  Michelle made a good point – Its fresh and new, just like my life!

Cute right??  I just don’t know if I can do that short….eeeekkkk!  I might have to go light again as I found 2 more grey hairs!!!  Dang, 31!

I’m going to get my breakfast on and then get my sweat on ;)

Comment Below! Do you get a new Spring Hair Cut every year??  Do you have a set sleep schedule??

To Your Glam Life,

xxoo

I have noticed a few grays and finally found something I am comfortable with using..Surya Henna Cream in Chocolate..they sell it at Whole Foods and Vitamin Cottage…it lasts about 3-4 weeks and I only put it on my little grays and minimally blend in the surrounding area..I LUV IT! Let me know if you have any questions…xo

I love you with dark hair but think you really need to get it cut in that style – it’s amazing! And you have the same shape face as her so it will really suit you!

PS Love fruit in salad beasts. It’s been berries lately for me but I really want to add in some pears now, you have me inspired!

Sleep is so important and I know this, but it really is hard to fit it in!!! I try to be in bed between 10 & 11 and I’m up between 5 & 6:30 a.m. depending on whether or not I’m going to the gym…..I feel ah-mazing after 8 hours of sleep so I’ve been making a true effort to get at least 7 haha.

You look awesome as a dark brunette, but I’ve had a few grays too and I must say blonde hides them fabulously! I’ve gone quite light and am loving it – plus a good cut makes your hair look so healthy and fresh!

My sleep has been pretty horrendous lately, I got to get it back on track! I always put highlights in my hair in the winter, but never change it much besides that. Short hair is in this season, so I’d say go for it if you really want too! I don’t think I could cut my hair though haha, I’m too attached!

I have a pretty extensive lulu headband collection and It’s not just because they look pretty that’s for sure. I don’t know how I ever worked out with out them. I love that they absorb sweat and keep my baby hairs out of my face. They do look cute too ;-)
