How are ya??
I loved all your feedback on the carb cycling post yesterday and loved hearing what you eat to stay lean! Being in this leaning phase is killing me. A girl wants a carb after 7pm. Seriously.
The good news about this whole leaning phase is I found a cardio option that I actually don’t mind and that burns so many calories…its called the Stationary Bike.
Yes, it sweats my booty off and I huff and I puff, but really the time goes by fast, my thighs are tightening up {I can only tell this by my cellulite diminishing} and by the time I look at my heart rate monitor I already burned like 200 calories. My kinda sweat! I have no idea why the treadmill picks my butt so much, but it really, really does. The Elliptical does not fill my love tank, the whole running thang is something I wish I was better at, but this bike…I kinda like the bike.
I just recently read that when you do a cardio activity for 40 days straight, let’s use running as an example, for 30 minutes at a time {don’t quote me on that!} that after the 40 days you’ll actually start to love it and miss it when you can’t run. I wish I loved running, so I’m thinking I might just jump into a 40 day challenge with this and see….but nothing will sway me from my weights and bikini muscles. I need me some more muscles!!
Yesterday after an amazing workout, we picked up our new car!!
We get a car allowance with our company as long as the car is 2008 and newer, black and a BMW, so we finally got ours!! We’re like proud new parents…..gawd I love a fast car. I get that from my mom
Yes, its still too cold here to go in a tank top…we’re rocking sweatshirts daily. But I do know a good way to get your body heat up….RIDE THE BIKE!
I’m off to rock the gym, have some breakfast and get my passport renewed or Miami will be hard for me to get to in July! EEEEEKKK!!!

Tthe treadmill is definitely my favorite cardio equipment. I have one in my house with a TV and I go on it any free chance I get even if I’m just waiting for laundry to be done. I don’t like to sit around and watch TV so if I can speed walk or jog while catching up on my favorite shows, it’s a good thing!!

That car is beautiful!! So jealous! My BMW is so ugly compared to yours haha. My favourite piece of cardio equipment is definitely the spin bike!!! I just love it.

I love love love biking!! You guys need to get a road bike (or a hybrid) and get out there. It’s soo much fun and I love it so much more than running because you can ride over 100km in a day and not get burnt out.. and see so much. Biking is the best way to discover Vancouver and we have so many bike lanes.
