Blaze Your Trail Cookies {Protein Rich, Wheat Free & Sugar Free}

Happy Friday, Doll!

How are ya?

So you know me, I’m big on blazin my own trail.  Setting my vision and not allowing any obstacle the permission to cross me.

As I was away over last weekend my 90 Day Bikini Challenge crumbled.  I ate out a lot, I didn’t workout any, and I felt guilt pop up.  These obstacles were creeping in to halt my success with this challenge but I made it dang clear to my body, my health and my homeboy, the universe, that there is NO PITY Party here.  Nope.  None.

All I needed to do was turn my thinking around, get back on a clear healthy track on Monday and just set my challenge to end a couple days later than expected ;)

Yesterday was our “Almost There” pics that we took.

I have 2 weeks left on the LiveFit Program and I’ve gained about 4lbs lean muscle and have been able to chisel down in some areas.

I openly plastered this on Facebook yesterday as I figured I am who I am, why not show my rack in a sports bra.  Totally uncomfortable, but hey!  We’re all friends, right??

I’m happy with my health as of right now, but as I said on FB, if I was to do this program again, I’d lift heavier weights from the beginning to get more of a definition and a change in the old long lean 5’10 arms ;)   But lets see what the next 2 weeks hold for me and my challenge!!  WOOT WOOT!

I know, I know, its Treat Friday and I want to open a warm oven full of donuts for you, but come’on a gal has to eat clean over here, so you’re getting some Blaze Your Trail Cookies!  These babies are Full of Protein, Wheat Free and Sugar Free….thank god for Stevia, huh?? These are a great snack mid afternoon with a cuppa tea {or joe!} and keep you full for your muscle building routine!

Remember to eat higher protein when you’re leaning down so you’re not turning to lots of carbs that will spike your insulin.  These cookies are made with Oats so they are a slow release in the system!

Blaze Your Trail Cookies:

1 cup Oat Flour

1/4 cup Quick Oats

10 tablespoons Vanilla Protein Powder {Vi Shape Shake Mix}

4 packs NuNaturals Stevia

1/4 cup Almonds

1/4 cup Raisins & Pumpkin Seeds

1/4 cup Chocolate Chips

1/4 tsp Sea Salt

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Baking Soda

2 Egg Whites

1/4 cup Greek Yogurt {Apple Sauce would work}

1/2 cup Almond Milk

2 tbsp Peanut Butter

To Make Blaze Your Trail Cookies: Preheat oven to 350.

In a large mixing bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients together.

In a small bowl combine the wet ingredients together well.

Mix the wet into the dry and drop tablespoon amounts of cookie dough onto a parchment lined cookie sheet.

Bake cookies for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

**If you’d like to make these vegan, try using chia eggs in replacement of real egg whites.

These are soooooo tasty, clean and healthy!

Well if I die today, I’ll die happy knowing I’ve had a nibble of one of these cookies with my breakfast…..

Now, I must get my booty to sweat in the gym, Arms & Abs…then 30 stinking minutes of cardio.  Blah.  Then, COFFEE!

Comment Below! What are you treating on today??

To Your Glam Life,

xxoo

Kris

    You look amazing Kris! Even though you didn’t eat clean the whole weekend, you are pretty dang healthy the rest of the time, and you definitely deserve a break every once in a while! I think everyone experiences things like that. And these look delicious as well! I love my protein baked goods!
