Happy Thursday, Doll!
How are ya?
So yesterday I was “out of town”. We hopped on a ferry and headed over to Victoria on Vancouver Island to crush out a party for the business.
We basically hit the ferry going to the island at 2pm and caught the 9pm boat home….it was fast, but fun! I love little getaways 
Of course I was a freak show and packing healthy snacks in every bag we had ready to go with us….and I ended up eating 2 of these tasty bars in the span of the afternoon. Doh. Low GI, what can I say 
This was my “I’m happy to leave dodge” pick before we hit the road….or….errr….water!
I was a happy girl
Like I said, we were in and out, but had time for a yummy salmon dinner (no wine and no pic was taken. Poo) but it was good!!
I can tell you one thing…Starbucks was had!
We also took this stink face (first time roaming the back seat of the new car…ryan not happy!) but Hudson was. He had a lot of towels down to prevent hair, scratches, and other doggy things on the leather.
He would always move the towel. Little bugger.
Well my friend, that’s all the excitement I have so far for you this morning, I know I’ll have more later and will fill you in over Facebook.
Now I’m off to sip joe and you guessed it, hit the sweat box!!

Sounds like a fun day! My fiance and I are going on a beach vacation next week and we are bringing our dog. This will be his first hotel stay (but not his first vacation).

So much fun! I always grab a Starbucks at the ferry terminal lol – I have so many pictures of myself in that same spot as you on the ferry on various ferry rides we’ve taken and ALL with a Starbucks in hand haha! The ferry is coooold even on a sunny day, because of the wind, so it’s a necessary way to warm up I say! So fun, I love short trips too

I wish I could do day travels, but it’s a little hard where I live! When I was in college, my bf (now husband) and I would go all over the place. We didn’t have a dog then, but we definitely bring the little guy now! And I gotta say – your dog is so cute!
