Pity Party Is Over! Staying True To Your Vision

Happy Monday, Doll!

How are ya?

Did you have a fab weekend or what?!

It was nice and busy over here, full of food and sunshine :)

Before I jump into today’s post, can you believe that I leave for Miami and the Bahamas on Wednesday and I’ve done nothing for this trip yet?!

I still need a new flipping bikini! Eeeeekkk!!

I remembered all these to do’s as I sat reflecting at the beach last night.

We took the dog and some snacks and visualized our goals, set action steps and just took the time to breathe!

Snacks!!

What has come up for me over last week was I’m disappointed at myself. I had huge goals for myself and especially with my last 90 Day Challenge and I wanted to see huge crushing biceps for Miami and they didn’t blossom ;)

Since I realized this frustration I dove into it, it felt icky and I felt upset….but in the end my pity party was over and I learned I have to celebrate where I’ve come and where I’m going!

Acknowledging that I was crushing other areas in my life, like business and could spend 3 hrs at the gym, I felt pretty good with myself!

We don’t give up around here, do we?! Hell no!! We reset our goals, celebrate our successes and soothe our losses and decide to dust our short shorts off and Rock out our goals!!

Do I have a goal to have biceps?? Yes! Will I obtain them? Yes! It just might take me longer than 90 days…..with lots of cheat travel food in there.

Moral of the story we’re fabulous always, it’s OK to reset the same goal and go after it, don’t get discouraged and HAVE FUN!!

Speaking of fun me and some gals on our Vancouver team did a little photo shoot over the weekend!! Cute, huh??

Ok, Doll…I’m off to drink joe and then most likely raid my sisters closet for vacation outfits! We be clubbin’ yo!!

Comment Below! Do you allow yourself to have a mini pity party before you turn your vision around and get reconnected?  Will you carry the same goals over if you did not achieve them at first?

To Your Glam Life,

xxoo

Miami has the best bikini shopping around. Everywhere you go they’re selling adorable swimwear. I’d bring an old suit with you and then just find something adorable while you’re there :-)

I love these photoshoots you do! They look awesome!

We can definitely be our own worst critic and I find that sometimes when we’re on these plans, we DO end up with the biceps/look we wanted when we set out, but as we got into the plan we kept changing our end goal to want more, more, more! Yet if we actually think back to when we started and what we envisioned for ourselves, we have reached it! Sometimes that perspective can help?

I’m sure you’ll rock it out on the beach in Miami no matter what! Major jealous! :)

Oh yea. The pity party is necessary. Disappointment is a part of life. It’s being able to get through it to the other side that makes you rock!

“Mini” pity party? More like a 3-day bash! Haha! It’s good to be reminded, though, that we always need to push through. Thanks for reminding us to keep going and to keep positive!
