Haha Kris, you are not going to believe this! I have been making exactly this as a dessert treat for evening chocolate oatmeal cookie cravings.

Yum. I love the fact that I won’t need to turn on the oven to make treats like this, because lord knows its steamy outside now:) I hope your hangover clears up soon! I’m treating on a night out with some friends tonight!

Kris you’re awesome! I made these last night – I’m visiting my sister in Calgary now that she just had her baby and needed a quick protein cookie I could turn to to keep myself from indulging on all these regular baked goods she has in the house for visitors stopping by! I whipped these up because she had all 4 of these ingredients (though I added a 5th ingredient – a couple of splashes of almond milk – because her almond butter is more the hard type and not the drippy type so it needed the liquid). The only thing I would change next time is maybe using mini choc chips because, as these don’t bake, the choc chips are all still hard. Sooo good! Ooh and I made double the recipe quantity and got 10 cookies out of it which made me really happy! So often on bloggers they say something is healthy and relatively low in cals but that’s because they say one batch makes 48 of something when realistically it makes barely 24!
I love that this is such a simple base recipe too – from which you can do all kinds of cookie bites, like oatmeal raisin, which I think might be my next adventure!

kris! loved the cookie recipe. i agree with anna that mini chips should be used otherwise it’s hard to shape the cookie form with bigger chips! i wanted to ask how your cutting diet is going? i’m having a hard time on lower calories trying to lean out since iwas so used to eating a lot while building muscle. any thoughts or tips?
