I was thinking over my brown box of Salad Bar from Whole Foods yesterday and chatting with Ryan how I wanted to make this community more interactive, more creative and more BAM out of this world, FUN! So we have IT, the perfect thing we’re going to rock together!
Let’s get Creative, Let’s get Interactive, Let’s Do This Together!
It’s the Foodie Showdown!
I decided to give this a try for 1 month to see how it flies and I’m really going to need your feedback here so you can let me know if its Fab or a Flop, but I think its pretty darn rad.
This is how the Foodie Showdown is going to work!
* Every Friday I will list 4 ingredients that have to be used together in a dish. It might be sweet, savory or a bit of both, every week will differ.
* The 4 ingredients must be used for 1 dish. You can of course add other ingredients to make this dish something fancy!
* On Monday you’ll come back to the blog, see what I made and share what you made! If you’re a food blogger, please share on your blog and send me your link in the comments section of the Monday Revealing Post so we can see your amazing food item.
* Please share your pictures of your final product by tagging @iheartwellness on both Facebook and Twitter. I will then resend them out my Social Media Followers with your link!
* Make sure you request to join the Top Secret I Heart Wellness Page on Facebook and share your creation there on Monday!
* If you are not on social media, please feel free to send me your creation to info@iheartwellness.com
* I will take all of your pictures and your links and share them on the next Friday’s Foodie Showdown!!

* Chocolate Cookies {I used Pamela’s Gluten Free}
* Nectarines
* Dark Chocolate {I used 88% Dark Endangered Species Brand}
* Macadamia Nuts {I used 1/2 cup}
Let’s get our thinking caps on!! Ready Set Go!
I might have to get my ideas while crushing out weights at the gym this morning….that’s when the best ideas come

GREAT idea! Love it
The only issue I (and some others) may have is allergy restrictions! For instance, I’m allergic for macadamia nuts so I can’t participate in this week! I guess I’ll just have to wait for a week of ingredients that works for me.

These definitely sound fun! When the ingredients fit my eating habits, I will be sure to make something! I am doing Eat To Live and there are no processed foods allowed, so I will stay tuned to see if any of the weeks fit for me. Such a neat idea!
