Cheers to you from my mug to yours. Black coffee, baby.
Yesterday I had a noon meeting with some of our local ladies on our team and we met at a local Starbucks {surprised?! I think not.} It was nice to be prepped, hair did and makeup on by 10:30am.
Normally I’m either sweating my boobs off at the gym in the morning or behind my computer in pajama bottoms and a “house” shirt. You know those shirts you’ll never be seen in, but they’re baggy enough to cover your bloat and feel cozy in? I have many of those. Creativity flows in house shirts.
When you’re on the internet and creating an empire around your life messages float in and make me smile every day! A lot of people have been asking how I overcome struggles in life.
Great Question!
I just jumped over another killer hurdle Tuesday and Wednesday and it was a doozy, but I lived and it’s been great since!
For myself I look at a breakdown, freakout, or doubt as I have two choices….I can give in and allow everything I’ve worked hard to achieve, just wash away. Or I can love on the breakdown, see why this is happening and CRANK up some music and start moving.
There are days I don’t want to make calls, head to the gym or take the dog for a walk {who am I kidding?! Ryan usually walks the dog…} but on those days I’ve learned that it’s easier to just do it and not look back instead of dwelling and unraveling my hard work to date.
Here are some secrets I have to overcome struggles:
Create a To Do List {Yes, I’m a list freak, but you know that already} Check off the top 3 asap, that will get your blood moving and you can’t stop momentum!
Get some tunes rocking!! Find your favorite song and get singing and moving
Stick to whole, nutritious foods. They keep your mood stable and the fresh feeling going strong
Move every single day! This doesn’t need to be holy crap heavy weights, but just a nice walk around the block with get you inspired
Keep negativity away! If you have that negative friend, only facebook them, don’t call them!
Declare your dreams and goals to yourself daily
Be grateful
Read a good book, 20 minutes a day
If you have a life coach, send them an email. This will get your doubts off your chest and you’ll feel better
LAUGH! If you’re in a real rut, laughing helps!
These are some things I do daily to keep myself on track and it works well, most days
Comment Below! What gets you out of a “struggle”?
To Your Glam Life,
xxoo
Kris

Love this list! What a helpful set of ideas to beat those tougher days that we all have! Not sure if you got my email but we’re both in Boston and we should definitely connect! I think we’re both working in similar situations
