How Would It Feel to Actually Make a Decision?

How was the weekend?  I hope it was full of laughs and good coffee.  It was for me and it was full of great conversation, including one I had on the tele with my friend Tasha from www.theedibleearth.com if you haven’t read her blog, head over there now….she’s amazing!

I got up to no good on Saturday….

Whole Foods Bridge Mixture and Coffee!

The topic of today’s post is because of a personal reason.   Most of my post ideas come from what I hear at Starbucks or what friends email me asking for guidance on, but today it’s purely ME!  I’ve came up against something that I want to do, it’s a coaching course for a pretty penny each month, for 11 months and it sounds so interesting to me, but really a few months from now, or even when I dive into it…..will I really enjoy it?  Will I enjoy paying the hundreds a month for it?  These are the questions that have been rolling around in my head.

If you’ve ever had a decision to make and you question everything behind it, raise your hand.  Well, maybe your coffee mug!   You see this decision I have to make needs to be done asap.

When it comes to making a decision, I know that we’re probably all in the same boat when we talk about the feelings that come up behind the BIG D.

Will I make the right decision?

Can I do what they are asking of me?  Really….can I?

Is it TOTALLY out of my comfort zone??

What if I say NO and miss out….

What if I say YES and wish I said no?!

Right?  Have you been there??

Here is my coaching to you, if you’re in a situation where a BIG D has to be made!  Dun Dun DUUUUUUNNNNNN

Ask yourself is the feeling I’m getting around making this decision “Icky” or “Giddy”?  Those are the two ways I can tell you how I feel with a decision.  I either feel its off, but I want it to be on, or it’s ON and I have no idea if my intuition is really telling me it’s on!  Hahaha.

This is how we will know if we make the right BIG D, ask “If I was to let this go, would I be upset next month?”

If the answer is yes, honey you need to do it.  Do what it takes to get it done and take the leap of faith!

I just read that “The future belongs to the risk-takers, not the comfort-seekers.” ~Brian Tracy

If it makes you feel better, I always believe in you and I know you’ll follow your intuition and make the decision that is right for you and your life journey!  That’s all it is, a fun, buckle up journey!  ENJOY THE RIDE!!

I just wrote a journal post about this!
My conclusion – if you are seeking change then there is something in your life presently that you are missing. You will NEVER know what the missing piece will be until you start to look for it!

What a great way to explain this! I struggle so much with making decisions and definitely tend to waver back and forth so this is a great rule to live by!
