It’s hump day, baby!
Are you ready to take this day by storm? I sure am! I have some super exciting new…well, it’s exciting for me and I hope for you as well! I will be sharing it on Facebook later this today. Keep your eyes peeled!
I was asked yesterday by a gorgeous friends, how to forgive yourself for past mistake made and I think this question is AWESOME!
Before I get started into that, I want to share with you my newest baby…my Lululemon Pump It Up Jacket! Hello, brightness, I love you!
Ok, ok, enough about me, time to forgive yourself!
I’ve talked to you a lot about Forgiveness before and I know what it’s like to hold onto pain within for things or “mistakes” you’ve made in the past. Truth is, everything in life shows up for us to learn and grow from…even the real crappy things you don’t think you need in your life, you do. We’re always learning and growing, learning and growing.
So yes, we probably made some real stupid decisions in our past, we’ve all be there, done that, but we are a new person today. We have new values, new sparkle and new purpose in our day. My advice would be to drop the past, it’s done, make the DECISION to start new today and move forward. You will have a hard time attracting all kinds of joy, love, abundance and connection with yourself if you’re living in the hurt of the past.
I’ve learned from this and I know the best thing to do is to stop the resistance from moving forward in a blissful life and just DO IT. Crazy as it sounds, the wallow wagon is parked….we’re on to new and better things, aren’t we??
But, to answer your question, here is how we can Forgive ourselves for past mistakes we’ve made……
Write yourself a letter. Pour every pain or negative thing you are feeling about the past, let it flow. Once you’re done, take it, rip it up and flush it down the can. It’s over and done with. Time to move forward.
You can also get into meditation, see your past self walking towards you in your minds eye, look into your eyes and tell yourself “I Love You. I Forgive You.” Keep saying this over and over again. Feel the past self wanting to grow with you without holding the pain. Walk away from the past self and only focus ahead.
Try this Forgiveness Mediation!
Will you do me a favor and start living the life you were meant to life, today? Making a fresh new declaration to yourself that you deserve to step into the new you?
If we’re not friends on Facebook, let’s chat there!
