I’m a wee bit late posting this morning as I had to get a workout in before I head for an appointment. I needed to sprint this morning my friend….I was fun and not fun.
Now, I come giving treats!
Yesterday I needed chocolate!! I needed a cookie. I needed something sweet it would fill my heart….but I couldn’t bring myself to eat a chocolate chip cookie from Starbucks. No way! I made my own.
Grain Free. Sugar Free. Double Chocolate! Ohhhhh baby!!
I made them tiny so I could have 2….or 3 and it was fine
Double Chocolate Protein Cookies:
1/4 cup coconut flour
3/4 cup protein powder (I use vi shape shake mix)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt
2 tbsp cocoa powder
4 stevia packs
1 tbsp nut butter
2 tbsp almond milk
1-2 tbsp water (depending if you need it)
3 tbsp chocolate chips (I used endangered species chocolate chopped)
To make cookies: preheat oven to 350.
Mix all dry ingredients together and all wet. Mix the wet and the dry and roll into 1″ balls.
Flatten with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes.
Let me tell you….these are great at a shake topper!!
