Ryan and I are in Maui and I’m determined to eat healthy!!
Yes, you might remember we were just here in October (when he put a ring on it 😍) but we’re back again because my sister is getting Maui’d, so my family comes to the island on Wednesday and until then, I’m chilling and soaking up the much needed vitamin d!
We just spent the day sitting on the beach, reading Marianne Williamson books and talking about where we want to travel to next as we’re ready to explore and co create some epic sh*t! We also hiked to see the hidden heart in the rocks… for LOVE DAY!
Side note – I’ve packed so many delicious essential oils for this trip that help me emotionally, spiritually and physically. I will be sharing which oils I brought and WHY on the IHW Fanpage! I’ve been trying to do a FB LIVE 5x a week on the I Heart Wellness Fanpage where I openly let you know which essential oils my intuition lead me to that day and why.

Ok! Back to the healthy Maui Grocery Haul!!
Last time we came to Maui we were not well educated on the island… We did NOT go to Costco nor did we do much meal prepping, even though we had a fully functioning kitchen. So this left me feeling quite depleted and tired because I wasn’t getting enough protein, etc.
Since doing Whole30 I have felt phenomenal and my body is humming, my mood is focused and I feel really really good. I did not want to come on this trip and fall back to my old habits of picking up simple meals, like veggie burgers and protein bars…I needed chicken cooked and kept handy in the fridge, loads of fruit and veggies and paleo friendly bars I could through in my beach bag and head to the sand with!
That’s exactly what we have done this trip! We’ve gotten great at planning and prepping here and eating so well.
I’ve also been really good with my workouts and have a fantastic gym here in the resort, so I get my sweaty workout in before I start my day (I mean we’re up at 3:30am here so far every morning, and Starbucks doesn’t open until 5:30!) so I have some time to kill ; )
As soon as we got off the plane, we hit up Costco and let me show you what we got in this video!
We’re on Day 3 here in Maui and we just now need to top up on protein, eggs, peppers, celery and more PRO BARS, the rest we’re still going strong with, so I’m happy and feeling healthy on this trip!
Eating clean is easier than I thought it would be on vacation and it’s actually really cheap!
I don’t know about you, but I hate having to look for a restaurant and wait in long lines when I’m starving and where we’re staying in Maui there is one restaurant on site and I only like it for Aloha Hour ; ) When you have a goal or appreciate how you feel while on vacation, try making a meal or two in your room to help you keep your vibes high!
Food is not the only way to keep your vibes high while away, I mean our systems get into some overwhelm when we travel so do make sure you’re deep in your spiritual connection, using your mantra’s and meditations, reading good books and heck I even packed crystals with me! Do what you need to do to keep your vibes high and aligned!
